The name

Cogletta is a name I made up around a simple belief: Ability to read articles based on one's interests.

The name blends two Latin roots. Cognito means "to know" or "to understand" — the origin of the modern word cognition. Collecta means "gathered together" or "carefully collected."

Together, they express what Cogletta is built to do.

Not endless scrolling. Not constant notifications. Just a few carefully chosen articles on the subjects you genuinely care about.

Why Cogletta exists

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped reading regularly. We still spend hours consuming content every day, but it often feels fragmented. We jump from one short video to another, skim headlines, scroll through endless feeds, and by the end of the day it's hard to remember anything we actually learned.

Reading itself didn't disappear. The habit did.

I started thinking about how I used to read. I'd pick up a magazine or newspaper, discover thoughtful articles, and gradually build knowledge around the topics that interested me. I wanted that feeling back.

That's why I built Cogletta. Every morning, Cogletta delivers a small collection of thoughtfully selected articles based on your interests. No algorithms competing for your attention. No endless feed to scroll through. If you think like me — you're in the right place.
